XRC PRO - InterBOND25™ 2 Part, High Solids, Aromatic Polyurethane primer

InterBOND25™ is a professional-grade, ultra-low VOC primer engineered to restore adhesion between cured coatings and new applications. Designed for use when a recoat window has been missed or when refreshing existing urethane systems, InterBond25™ penetrates and bonds to aged surfaces to ensure long-lasting intercoat adhesion.

Formulated with high solids and low viscosity, InterBond25™ is ideal for use in maintenance recoats, resurfacing, or as an adhesion-insurance layer beneath topcoats like Shield100sc™. It may also be accelerated with Shield100sc™ Hardener to speed up turnaround on time-sensitive projects.

Coverage: 300 sq ft per gallon 

Typical Uses: 

• Recoat bonding primer for cured urethane systems 

• Maintenance coats over worn surfaces 

• Adhesion promoter when the recoat window has passed 

• Bonding layer between old coatings and new topcoats

Tack-free time: 2–4 hours at 75°F (24°C), 50% RH

Mix ratio: 1:1 by volume 

Pot life: 30–60 minutes at 75°F (24°C), 50% RH 

Mix each component separately, then combine and mix mechanically at low speed
